Starting in 2017, Bulgarian Medicine universities applied an admission test on Biology and Chemistry.In addition, admission in certain Medicine schools in Bulgaria requires candidates passing an English test, in order to confirm their knowledge level.As all lectures are held in English, good written and oral use of the English language is necessary.Other medicine universities in Bulgaria also require submitting English language certificates, e.g. TOEFL and IELTS.

In addition, the courses of Biology and Chemistry must be included in the candidates’ secondary education degrees, with grades over 62%.
